The Seashell by the stage area in Enghaveparken was designed by Arne Jacobsen.
Enghaveparken was built by city architect Poul Holsøe and his closest associate, the newly graduated Arne Jacobsen, from 1928-29 and was inaugurated on April 26, 1929.
The Seashell was built in 1931.
